It’s Not You, It’s Me

I just got a very nice rejection letter for my proposal to teach at Sock Summit. I pasted a copy of the letter below. Feel free to read it. If you need me, I’ll be in the bathroom drowning  myself in a tub full of cashmere yarn. *sigh*

Hello Michelle,
Thank you so much for your very well considered teaching proposal. This has been such a difficult job.  We’ve gotten so many wonderful class proposals from some really lovely people, yourself included.  You sound like you have had quite the time of it and come out the other side in a pretty good place. Suck a wonderful attitude it was a joy to read your story.
We are not going to be able to add you to the teaching list this time around but please don’t take this as anything other then we are full.

Thank you so much for taking the time to apply.
   Our best,

  Tina and Stephanie

  1. So sorry you weren’t able to teach for this event. At least they said it was simply because they were full.

If you really want to teach again, I’m sure there are places with spaces that would love to have you.
